Victoria has recorded 1,069 locally acquired cases of COVID-19 and 10 deaths. Greater Darwin's lockout is set to end, as Queensland plans to drop restrictions on fully vaccinated people and venues once the 80 per cent vaccination target is achieved.

Another 10 people have died in Victoria with COVID-19 as the state recorded 1,069 new local cases.  579 people are in hospital with the virus, 90 are in intensive care and 55 of those patients require ventilation.  As Victoria's vaccination rates continue to rise, the daily case numbers have been trending downwards and the number of people in hospital has been falling since late October. Premier Daniel Andrews says the state is progressing well overall.
