Five weeks into this outbreak and the sheer number of COVID-positive patients is overwhelming hospitals that were already understaffed.

New Yoirk state has so far had over 122,000 cases and more than 4,000 deaths, is expecting a peak in admissions to hospital.  The Governor, Andrew Cuomo, has warned that vital equipment - such as ventilators - would run short in just a few days.  The coronavirus is testing hospitals and emergency responders like never before.
