The development by Russian nationals is not considered to to present a threat to Finnish national security but possible money laundering is being investigated. President Sauli Niinstö has expressed his concern over the future of the UN; he says that member countries need co-operate more closely.  Dual citizenship is also talked about because some countries, such as Russia, do not allow their countries to have a second citizenship in another country. Thus there is an imbalance as Finland does allow Russians to have dual Russian and Finnish citixźenship.
