Electricity bills have increased across Australia by an average of 100 to 300 dollars a year, according to government research.


As the energy debate continues, several Coalition backbenchers are calling for a Royal Commission to interrogate the bosses of the nation's electricity companies. Malcolm Turnbull says that is not necessary.
