The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is redefining the way support services are provided to Australians with a disability

The scheme is being rolled out gradually across the country and, by 2019, almost half a million Australians with a disability will receive support.
The scheme marks a major shift in disability care, tailoring services like transport and accommodation to the needs of the individual, rather than funding particular groups.
