Christmas is approaching and the traditional Christmas street, Aleksanterinkatu in Helsinki has opened for the 70th time. EU-leaders approved British Brexit agreenent; Finland is relieved that air traffic can continue as before because a large proportion of European flights to the East passes through Finland. The building industry is slowing  down but the year has been favourable for maufacturing in generally. According to opinion polls, 89% of Finns rate president Sauli Niinistö's performance in office as fairly good or excellent....
