Scammers fired into action, making fake appeals from every corner of the internet.

There are large amounts of misinformation online about the war in Ukraine floating around online. While some of it is being pushed for political reasons, cybercriminals have also been hijacking the outpouring of sympathy for Ukraine, using emotionally charged posts to channel donations away from charities.
