Health officials in Australia and around the world have been unable to reach a consensus on the severity of the Omicron variant of COVID-19.  State, territory and federal leaders met on Tuesday at National Cabinet to discuss the variant.   The Federal government is delaying the re-opening of Australia's borders to international students and migrants due to the ongoing situation.  Overseas arrivals were expected to arrive in Australia on December 1st - including a travel bubble with Japan and South Korea - but the date will now be pushed back to December 15.
