South Australia has become the first state in Australia to ban single-use plastic cutlery, straws and beverage stirrers. The move has been met with optimism from the community, but as .... reports, there are calls for more consistent action.

Erica Rizk   owns a cafe in Adelaide. Her loyal customers are no longer able to receive their takeaway with plastic cutlery, straws or stirrers.  Ms Rizk says her cafe has been able to easily manage the ban.
