The new senate

When federal parliament resumes next Tuesday (Aug 30) the Government will be dealing with the largest senate crossbench in Australian history

The 14 new senators are attending Senate school at Parliament House.

 

The group will get a three-day induction covering everything from setting up their offices to Senate procedures before they return to Canberra next week to start their new jobs
