This was originally going to be a once off event to mark International Womens day in 2012. The popularity of the gathering continues and women from the Finnish community gather again  on Saturday the 19th October to talk about matters of interest to women and to enjoy a social get together at the same time. Professor Helena Nevalainen will give a talk about fungi and television producer Essi Haukkamaa-Judge tells about her experiences over two decades of working both in Finland and Australia
