The import ban on Russian oil does not cover pipeline transport and so Hungary will continue to get Russian oil.

Prime minister Sanna Marin visited Kiev and met with president Zelenskyy. The meeting covered, among other things, weapons aid to Ukraine. Finland is committed to increase its weapons delivery to Ukraine.

Finland will have presidential elections in 2024. According to a survey by Iltsanomat, the favourite is the director of Finnish National bank, Olli Rehn with 49%. Second in popularity is foreign minister Pekka Haaviasto, 45%. The third favourite is prime minister Sanna Marin with 35% and in fourth place ex prime minister Alexander Stubb.
