The national skiing holiday is about to begin, there is ample snow but the health experts are worried about possible Covid-19 outbreaks in the ski resorts.
The Finnish and Russian foreign ministers, Pekka Haavisto and Sergei Lavrov met in St Petersburg. Mr Haavisto demanded the Russian opposition leader, Alexei Navalny, to be freed while Mr Lavrov said the the demonstrations were unlawful and accused the EU of damaging international relations.
