Local resident Hanna Hakio tells about the aftermath, there are people who have lost everything to the floodwaters and mud and to mildew caused by the extended wet conditions. Some people have insurance but it is hard to tell how how long it takes to receive compensation. Many on modest incomes, such as pensioners who could not afford insurance are in a very difficult situation.
