The World Health Organisation is suggesting people with compromised immune systems have an extra COVID-19 vaccine dose due to their higher risk. But health authorities are battling to ensure everyone is fully vaccinated ahead of mandates soon to take effect in some countries, while developing countries continue to lag behind.
