A new report highlights the battle between Russia, China and western powers seeking to grow their geopolitical influence via COVID-19 vaccine diplomacy. So what are their ambitions, plus the risks and rewards in the long-term for vaccine diplomacy?


Vaccine dose donations can be questioned and scrutinised if an agenda is involved in the process.  Is vaccine dplomacy coercion or altruism, or a bit of both?  Apparently both China and Russia are selectively sending millions of vaccine doses to developing countries to court favours and compete where Western powers have a limited presence.
