Victoria has recorded new local COVID-19 cases as the list of high risk exposure sites grows across Melbourne. To minimise the risk, the Victorian government is launching a vaccination blitz for people working with the elderly and those with disabilities.

Victoria recorded nine new community-transmitted COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, including six previously reported on Monday, from more than 42,000 tests.  The new cases on Tuesday, take the total number of infections linked to the latest coronavirus outbreak to 54.  The Victorian government  announced all aged care and disability workers will be able to jump the queue at mass vaccination centres until Sunday at 10 of the state's vaccination centres.
