Australia’s coronavirus death toll remains under 100, the fatality rate is just over one per cent and we are seeing evidence of 'flattening the curve'. Why the large difference from one country to another?


Epidemiologist and public health specialist, Dr Tony Blakely says Australia’s geographical location and strong leadership is helping in keeping the rate of transmission low. Also,  Australia's Geographic position gave a little more time for preparations for the epidemic as well as government limiting the arrival of travellers, especially from China
