Joukko EU-maita on luvannut ottaa vastaan merestä pelastettuja ihmisiä joilta on evätty pääsy Välimeren rantamaihin. Valtiosoihteeri samuli Virtanen sanoo kuitenkin että Suomi ei suostu uusiin kiintiöihin ennenkuin aikaisemmat kiintiöt on hoidettu.
