A French man charged for posting drugs to Australia

A French man has been charged after allegedly sending cocaine and cannabis in a small town in the Norther Territory.

According to the police, the 30-year-old man posted the drugs to an address in Yulara. 

"The offender sent two packages to Australia from France, before travelling to Yulara to collect them," Detective Superintendent Michael White said to AAP.

The first package arrived on Wednesday and the second one was stopped by the police. The man was arrested on Friday and will appear in court.
