The story happened last week, in Sydney, when a little girl dropped her bunny plush toy while exiting the train at Wynyard station.
Witnessing the scene, a man put the photo of the toy on Twitter asking for people to help him reunite with its owner.
The bunny was then given to employees of Sydney Trains, who posted on Twitter that the #sadbunny was safe. The hashtag started to gain traction and people from all over the world united to find the little girl.
Less than 24 hours later, the dad posted on Twitter that it's his daughter who lost the bunny. They went to get it back on the 20th.
Social media is often criticized, but there's no denying that this story is very heartwarming.
