A baby kangaroo who became an orphan after his mom was hit by a truck was adopted by a policeman in Western Australia. Cuejo, who is four-month-old, was found in his mother pouch, near Cue.
Constable Scott Mason, touched by the sad event, took the joey under his wing. « Because it needs to be fed every three hours, it’s going to be my little child basically as my wife’s in Perth with our newborn, » he said to Perth Now.
Western Australia Police asked the public to pick a name for the kangaroo, who ended up being named Cuejoe.

And to read the story of the thirsty koala drinking from a cyclist's water bottle, it's here.
