The owner, who is from Calanhel, hopes to see his wallaby back soon. He said he's owned wallabies since he was a child, but only bought this one a month before he escaped.
"Brittany is a paradise for wallabies. There's grass everywhere," he told newspaper Ouest-France.
If the animal doesn't get hit by a car (which is a real risk), he could live around 20 years in the wilderness.
He was spotted by the mayor of Calanhel a few weeks after its escape, and again a few days ago.
