Ollie and Harry Ferguson are two Scottish brothers who are now 6 and 9 years old.
At the end of May 2017, after receiving the Playmobil pirate ship from their parents, the two boys decided to make it sails around the world.
The family also thought to install a GPS so people could participate in following the boat's journey from their Facebook page The Days Are Just Packed.
The starting point of the trip is Peterhead town, north of Scotland. The parents of the two brothers improved the toy boat to allow it a better crossing; polystyrene was added for floatation, a counterweight for stabilisation and the family tested it in a pool.

The plastic ship went first to the Danish, Swedish and Norwegian coasts.
The boys had left a short message asking those who found the boat to let it continue the adventure. The toy has found help when it was, for example, blocked on sea.
At the end of last year, Christian Radich, a real Norwegian boat, dropped off L'Adventure off Mauritania in the Atlantic Ocean.

Since then, their story has caught the attention of the book industry and the little family decided to write a book about the adventures that the two brothers live.
Ollie & Harry's Marvelous Adventures is scheduled to be released next fall as part of the Norton Young Readers series.
