Raclette on chips in New-Zealand

Some might say those New-Zealanders are crazy, but we really, really want to try the dish created by MELT, a food truck from Auckland.

The MELT food truck is reinventing raclette by slathering the Swiss cheese on chips, hot dogs and Philly cheesesteaks. The chips come with pickles and bacon, a nod to traditional raclette.
If you're in Auckland and want to try the dish, you can check out where the MELT truck is on their Facebook page.
We'd love to have the same thing in Australia, but in the meantime, the fans of traditional raclette can get their fix at the Frencheese food truck, currently in Perth.

If it's the mix of cheese and chips you're looking for, Le Petit Montréal food truck and its poutine might be the answer. The truck will be at the Prahran Market's Say Cheese Festival, next Saturday.
