South Australian man arrested for attempted possession of MDMA sent from France

A 22-year-old man from Klemwzig, in South Australia, has been charged with the attempted possession of more than half a kilogram of MDMA.

Australian Border Force found the substance in a package originating from France on 26 March.

Australian Federal Police (AFP) officers then conducted a controlled operation with a delivery to the man’s residence in Klemzig. After the delivery, the AFP searched the house and found the MDMA, ketamine, and tools associated with drug production.

The 22-year-old man was arrested for the attempted possession of MDMA.

The operation was the joint work of the Australian Federal Police, South Australia Police and Australian Border Force.
