It is the smallest municipality in Switzerland. The village of Corippo, located in the Italian part of the country, is home to beautiful little stone houses, perched on the top of a mountain, as lost in time.
In 1850, there were 294 inhabitants and in 2018, they are only 12.
A village with an undeniable charm that could be abandoned, but the Corippo Foundation has raised 3 million euros to make it a village hotel.
There will be a reception and rooms, "The reception will be in the village restaurant, the foyer on the village square, the alleys will serve as corridors and hotel room houses", explains the architect of the foundation, Fabio Giacomazzi, at the RTS, the Swiss TV.
