Two backpackers are missing near Port Macquarie

Two tourists are missing in New South Wales. sont portés disparus en Nouvelle-Galles du Sud. Il s’agit du Français Erwan Ferrieux et de l’Anglais Hugo Palmer, tous les deux âgés de 20 ans.

The two young men missing are Erwan Ferrieux, from France, and Hugo Palmer, from Britain, both aged 20.

Their belongings were found abandoned on Shelley Beach, near Port Macquarie, yesterday morning. Their rental car, with their travel documents, was later found in the beach parking lot.

Authorities have launched a land and water search in the area. It's believed the men might have entered the water.

The New South Wales police are asking people who might have seen the men or their car (a silver Commodore) near Shelley Beach, to contact them.
