We're used to hear stories about surfers getting attacked by sharks in Western Australia, but it seems we have to worry about dolphins too.
Jed Gradison, 13, was surfing near Kalbarri when a got hit by a dolphin jumping out of the water.
His father filmed the scene three weeks ago:
"The dolphin landed on my shoulder and the back half of my body. The dolphin reacted, I think, really shocked — almost as shocked as I was," he told newspaper Perth Now.
Despite the heavy hit, it looks like Jed was lucky since he was only sore for a few days.
