En 1994, Jean-Noël Ducasse recevait Stanley Hawken dans les studios de SBS. L'Australien Hawken servait comme artilleur dans un escadron Lancaster de la Royal Air Force lorsque son avion fut abattu au-dessus de la France le 19 juillet 1944. Il échappa à la capture par l'occupant. Jean Vidal, Chef de la Resistance ramena Stanley chez lui pour le cacher pendant plusieurs semaines.
