Le 20 décembre 1915, les dernières troupes australiennes de l’ANZAC quittent Gallipoli. Après des mois de combats meurtriers et une campagne désastreuse pour les Alliés, l’armée australienne parvient pourtant à se retirer presque sans pertes. Une évacuation discrète, méthodique et rusée, devenue l’un des rares succès de l’opération de Gallipoli.
