Le bilan des pluies torrentielles - qui ont provoqué cette semaine des inondations record dans le Nord Est de l'Australie - a été porté à sept morts. Quelque 50'000 personnes restent piégées par les eaux qui ont commencé à se retirer. La région sinistrée se prépare à une immense opération de nettoyage après les inondations. Le premier ministre a envoyé des forces de l’armée pour aider sur place
