Ashleigh Raper, the ABC’s former state political reporter, issued a statement today describing Mr Foley’s alleged conduct at a Christmas party in 2016.
Ms Raper, who asked to be removed from the politics round at the start of the year, has also claimed the man who is on track to be the state’s next premier phoned her twice in the past week to apologise and offer an apparent explanation.
Mr Foley also allegedly told her he planned to quit his position this week, before saying a few days later that he would stay on.
