"Aiia could light up the room. Now she lights up the sky"

Greek Australian Dorothy Poulopoulou, works at La Trobe University and Aiia Maasarwe was her student. Ms. Poulopoulou describes Aiia as a "happy and bright young woman".

Dorothy Poulopoulos, is a professor at La Trobe University, who in recent months taught English to 20-year-old student Aiia Masarwe, the international student who was murdered in the Bundoora area of Melbourne.

Ms. Poulopoulou that works and lives in Bundoora was utterly shocked to find out about Aiia's murder. She describes Aiia as a life-filled girl, a smiling, positive, bright person, shining wherever she stood. She could light up the room and now she lights up the sky ", Dorothy Poulopoulos mentioned in an interview with SBS Greek.

She would like to see to see a shrine set up a at the murder site of the unfortunate girl, to remind everyone of her short life and to help prevent another crime like this happening in the future.
