Archbishop Makarios arrives in Melbourne today

The new Greek Orthodox of Australia Makarios is set to arrive in Melbourne this morning, Saturday 3rd of August.

It will be the fist visit to the city with the largest Greek community in Australia for the new primate of the Greek Orthodox Church of Australia.

His Eminence will stay until the 16th of August and has a full schedule not only with visits to parishes, community organisations and community, religious and political leaders but also with his officiating in the many church services of the religious calendar leading up to the Feast of the Dormition of Theotokos on the 15th of August.
