Greek superstar Konstantinos Argiros has made a significant contribution to Melbourne’s cultural life during his Australian tour, donating $150,000 from his sold-out concert at the Margaret Court Arena on Saturday, 25 October.

The funds will go directly towards the creation of the Hellenic Museum’s new Children’s Gallery, scheduled to open in 2026 in Melbourne’s CBD.

This will be the first gallery of its kind in Australia, offering children a dynamic space to explore Greek history and culture through interactive, play-based learning.

“We are deeply grateful to Konstantinos for his incredible generosity and vision,” said Sarah Craig, Director of the Hellenic Museum.

“This invaluable gift will help us create a space that empowers children to engage with art, history and culture in meaningful and joyful ways.”

Argiros, one of Greece’s most celebrated performers, said he was honoured to contribute:

“Music brings people together, and with this project, we can build something lasting for the next generation.”

The Hellenic Museum extended thanks to Argiros, his management team Juggernaut Entertainment, and the thousands of concertgoers who helped make this donation possible.
