Athens: A greek street artist spreading hope

With his chalks and the streets of Athens as his canvas, Dimitris Koletsis, a greek street artist spreads hope to his fellow citizens.

Dimitris Koletsis (aka Mitts) is a 42-year old graphic designer who lives in Athens, Greece. 

For the last 4 years, Dimitris paints happy messages on Athens' streets to spread smiles and hope to by-passers.

"We are stressed and we are sick of all the depressing news here in Greece. My messages are a temporary escape from our everyday problems. I want each and one of these messages to give someone a good vibe, to think about it, smile and continue with their day," said Dimitris in a recent interview.
