Car for sale stolen with seller's five-year-old son inside

A man and woman stole a man's car while the owner’s son was still in the back seat.

Police said the suspects, accompanied by the car's owner and his son, were test-driving the vehicle in Hope Valley when they asked to swap drivers.

Before the owner could reach the passenger seat, the pair allegedly sped off, with the five-year-old still in the car.

Police are urging anyone who spots the blue Subaru with registration S559APO to contact them.
