Dead fish in the millions in NSW
Over 700 kilos of fish were removed from Darling River in far west NSW on Monday as the clean up operation of the second wave of dead fish that blanketed the Menindee weir. NSW Regional Water Minister Niall Blair visited Menindee on Tuesday to see first-hand what he termed an "environmental catastrophe".
