Extreme weather to wreak havoc across Sydney again

Sydney is expecting to face more lighting, hail, and rain this afternoon after a violent thunderstorm swept through the city on Monday night.

Yesterday more than 30 flights have been cancelled or delayed after Sydney Airport was forced to adjust for severe weather conditions.

Hornsby and surrounding suburbs were the heaviest hit with 22mm of rainfall.

Closer to the coast, Mona Vale had registered 15mm of rain and Cromer 12mm.
