Federal budget 2021: Big investments underpin Australia's recovery from the ravages of coronavirus

The Coalition is pinning Australia's economic recovery on a massive jobs boom underpinned by several big spending programs.

Big spending commitments on aged care, mental health and disability support are at the centre of the federal budget released on Tuesday night, with almost $33 billion allocated to address serious and entrenched policy failures.
