In Flinders, Julia Banks, who is running as an Independent, has failed to claim the seat from Greg Hunt of the Liberals, who is also keeping Labor’s Josh Sinclair at bay, for now. Mrs. Banks got a 15.3% swing in her favor but she is still trailing third in the first preference votes, behind Mr. Hunt and Mr. Sinclair.

More to come.
