Hundreds injured as police, voters clash in Catalonia

Catalonian authorities say 90 per cent of voters in a banned referendum on independence have voted for the region to leave Spain. The referendum has triggered violent clashes between voters and Spanish riot police, with hundrends civilians reportedly injured.
