Labor's answer to Snowy Hydro 2.0

Labor leader Bill Shorten said that the government should focus on increasing the production of renewable energy in Australia.

Opposition leader Bill Shorten says there's little point in investing in projects like the expansion of the Snowy Hydro scheme if the government doesn't also back renewable energy.

The government has announced a further 1.4 billion dollars will be directed at the project, known as Snowy Two, as a way of improving reliability in the energy system.
