Joanne Shanahan lost her life tragically in a three-car collision on 25 April in Adelaide.

The 55-year-old’s funeral took place amid coronavirus restrictions, with her SA Police colleagues ensuring a fitting remembrance for the officer, lining the streets from where the family’s car was passing on the way to the funeral home.
