Delegates from around the country are preparing to meet in Darwin, for the annual conference of the Federation of Ethnic Communities' Councils of Australia (FECCA).

One of them , Peter Doukas, the President of the Ethnic Communities' Council of New South Wales  touched on how the media landscape should  change so as Ethnic communities achieve better representation.

“It is necessary for students to make it to commercial national media in order to successfully represent the multicultural social fabric of Australia”. He speaks to Odysseas Kripotos.

*The conference began on Sunday 8 October and continues through Tuesday, 9 October 2017.
