Mariners boss confirms audacious Giannou bid

An audacious attempt by Central Coast Mariners to sign former Socceroo Apostolos Giannou on loan has been confirmed by club boss Mike Charlesworth.

"We're doing what's possible to bring him to the Mariners and enhancing his chances of Socceroos selection," Charlesworth told The World Game
