A photo of Turkish actor Can Yaman, doing an offensive hand gesture during his visit to the Acropolis, has caused controversy in Greece.

The actor stars in the romantic comedy series ‘Fterotos Theos’, which airs on Greek television station Skai, and the photograph shows him doing an offensive hand gesture in front of the Greek flag.

Can Yaman said he wasn't try to offend anyone, claiming he was just trying to adjust his sunglasses.
