M. Turnbull has cast a shadow on the eligibility on leadership contender Peter Dutton regarding his share at two childcare centers in Brisbane.

In a snap media conference, Mr Turnbull announced that if he receives a letter carrying the signatures from the majority of his MPs he will call a party room meeting tomorrow midday.

At the meeting, he said, will not stand as a candidate for the top job.
