25 year old Indian jockey Trevor Patel is in Queensland for his first Australian ride. With 1000 wins under his belt Trevor is supported by five-time Brisbane premiership trainer Robert Heathcote.

Starting in 2009, Trevor rode his first winner a year later in 2010. With the 1000^th win on 25^th August 2017 in Mysore, Trevor is the fastest Indian Jockey to achieve this milestone in a short span of under eight years.
